FAQS

1). Is it a black tie event?
No you don’t need tux but it is a formal and classy event.

2). Is this a family event?
Because of large numbers of expensive art pieces displayed it is not a child friendly environment.

3). I can’t attend on Saturday night, can I still buy art?
Yes! If you can’t attend the event on Saturday night, you are welcome to attend our Sunday morning sale between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM at Edison Community College.

4). How do I pay for the art work?
Credit cards, checks and cash are accepted for art work. The auction company also provides payment options to interested individuals.

5). Is the art ready to hang?
All the art work showcased is framed beautifully and we would even wire it for you overnight and have it ready for pick-up the next morning!

6). Does CASA get all the proceeds from the event?
CASA receives a percentage of all the proceeds from the art sale and a 100% of all the proceeds from the raffle and 4 donated art pieces that are auctioned by our honorary auctioneers, the Troy, Tipp and Piqua mayors.

7). What does CASA do with the funds?
Funds generated by this event go toward our program operations that include volunteer training, recognition and administration costs.

8). What is for dinner?
A nice three course sit-down dinner is prepared by the AVI catering. Vegetarian dinners are available upon request. If you have any food allergies please let the office know.

9). Do I have to pay for my drinks?
No! The ticket price includes the open bar made available by the Wooden Shoe Inn from Minster, Ohio!

10). Where is Edison?
Edison is located at 1973 Edison Drive, Piqua OH 45356.

Directions:

  • I 75 N to Exit 82 (US 36)
  • Turn right at the exit ramp onto US 36
  • Go to the first traffic light and turn left onto Looney road
  • Signs to Edison are on the right on Looney Road.

 

11). I don’t like art but can I still help?
Yes absolutely! CASA is a 501 (c ) 3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible and corporate and individual donations are always welcome!
